New York Community Bancorp posts 2Q profit WESTBURY, N.Y. _ New York Community Bancorp Inc. on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $123.7 million. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share. New York Community Bancorp shares have risen 14 percent since the beginning of the year.
