Cypress reports 1Q loss SAN JOSE, Calif. _ Cypress Semiconductor Corp. on Thursday reported a loss of $229.8 million in its first quarter. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 6 cents per share. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $212.9 million.
